Curtains Are In

Those curtains came in today, got them up now. I knew they were too long for these windows so had to pin the bottoms of them up but they look ok I guess. Quite a bit of orange this way because you can't see all the green at the bottom of them. OH well, I'm keeping them... I bet I can find a way later on to cover some of that orange so it's not too much. LOL!!

Be honest --  it's a bit too much right? You can see the kitchen and sitting areas with the curtains in the background to give an idea. 

A thought: I have to pin up the length of the curtains up anyway: what about pinning the orange part over the rod and just having the green showing?!! That might work out!! OR pin most of the orange over the rod and show only a little bit of the orange at the top of the rod -- that way more green shows?!!
