Birthday Prep

 

Done B'day preparing for today and had a blast doing it. Pre-chopped veggies, strawberries hulled, bacon fried, Fiery Broth made, Bilbo's Sauce made, cheese loaf prepared, cheese grated & Herbal Potato Mash made. Vacuumed and did my laundry today as well. 

Tomorrow I will make the crusty white bread and candied apples. Need to dust in my room and clean the bathroom - either tonight or tomorrow. 

For my B'day all I have to do (besides clean my mess between meals - won't take long):

Breakfast: heat bacon, scramble the eggs - easy.

2nd Breakfast: Assemble the Beorn's Toast - easy.

Elevensies: Assemble Dorthy's Toast - easy.

Lunch: Warm the broth - fast and easy.

Afternoon tea: Make finger sandwiches - fast and easy.

Dinner: Make up Kebabs and cook them, heat up the potato mash. 

Supper - Assemble the fruit cup.

 Drinks - made to order.

Really not much to do on the 3rd because all the big/major stuff will be done ahead of time. Should be a pleasant day and able to watch the LotR trilogy extended easily. 

Wood Dishes Oiled

My wood set is now re-oiled, ready for use again. Wood is beautiful but gotta keep up with it so it won't dry out. Feels good to have that chore tackled. I've been oiling them about 2 times a year - about all I need to do them because I don't use them everyday - only use them on special occasions and when I wanna use them.

Showing one place setting - I've a setting for 4. I also have a wood salad bowl with the large serving fork and spoon -- all oiled again.

This set helps me on my bad days with the MS.. that way I most likely want break things when I get an attack.

Spring Cleaning 2020 Done!

Well, not sure if I'm moving once I get my trike (which will take about 3 months to get w/accessories) - then I will be ready to move! BUT place is cleaned and might have one more major cleaning to do before I move -- Summer Cleaning -- but we'll see, I'll know soon enough! 

At least everything is orderly and can move when ready.

I'm so sore today -- all that work out with my arms, shoulders, back and legs from all that cleaning walls and ceiling... wow.

I haven't used some of those muscles in a few months so they are sore -- different when used almost everyday or everyday - muscles get used to it (built up) - but I only do this like every 3 to 4 months so yea I pay for it after every time, but will be fine in a couple of days.

- I'm also "crashing" from mania to the low (part of my bi-polar). I just hope I don't crash too low - that can land me in the hospital again. lol

Spring Cleaning 2020

It's that time again!! -- I'm lucky that most of this is done already - been working on it for the last couple of weeks here and there but I'm ready to get all the rest of it done.

Cleaning out drawers/closets/cabinets, walls clean, dust, sweep, mopp, bedding, picture frames cleaned again, cat boxed renewed (scrubbed good), trinkets cleaned/polished -- I mean all cleaned again!!

I use the Lysol Hydrogen Peroxide and warm water to clean walls (ceilings). 

This is why I clean the walls every 3 to 4 months. This filthy water is from the hallway only -- had a bowl full from the bedroom and one from the bathroom. I'm a smoker - so a lot of this is nicotine! EWWWW I hate the smell of stale cigar or cigarette smoke even though I'm a smoker.

Summer Cleaning

Summer cleaning is coming along nicely - got everything done except top of fridge, under and behind it (get in a few) -- tomorrow or next day I clean walls & ceiling (I am a smoker so important to keep clean), picture frames/glass, kitchen cabinets/drawers. -- everything else done (all other drawers/cabinets/closet, swept, mopped, dusted/waxed furniture, fixed 2 drawers, AC cleaned etc....)

-- Whew! I started at 11:30 last night -- about 10 am now so about 10 and 1/2 hours of Summer cleaning all night -- getting there! Finish tomorrow or next day!!

Cleaning and Old Jeans

Break time! WOW 3 1/2 hours of fixing two drawers, cleaning out drawers, changing sheets, dusting, sweeping, moping, cleaning out hall closet, changing cat litter -- ok bedroom and hall closet cleaned out and up again. lol. What to tackle next? I guess bathroom & hallway drawers.

Cleaning I found my old HIGH SCHOOL Jeans - they were blue one time -- faded over the last 30 years to white. Naturally ripped from gardening when I wore them married to Phil. lol They still fit me!! 

 

 

Day 2 Of Spring Cleaning

Early Spring Cleaning. Was able to get underneath the couch cleaned back up this morning before I had one cup of coffee! haha - it's done anyway! Now time for that 1st cup of coffee then right back to my cleaning again!!

Water pipe was clogged for a couple of days - it's opened completely now!!  Guys had to undo the pipe from under the couch in this camper and run that router that way  -- the pipes are like a roller coaster in here - but cleaned and working... RidX & Bleach from now on!!

That Time of the Year Again

Starting some early spring cleaning... got some things done this evening and I'm cleaned up too - I feel "human" again!

Will work on my spring cleaning over the next few days.... looking positively at things! I can get my cleaning done early this year ... just do it slowly over the next couple of weeks.

Lonelier

It is quieter and lonelier without Pepper here... I miss him very much. But I'm at peace knowing he's out of his suffering and pain. My dream last night about him really helped me - I guess it was a coping dream - but a nice one.

I'm finding I miss talking to him all the time. He was inside most of the time with me... I got so used to talking to him and I don't have that anymore. Helps that it's getting cold outside and Nut-Nut is staying indoors more often. I've always talked to the girls too but now I have to direct all my talks to Nut-Nut only and Honey when she decides to come inside. Strangely, it will be the winter forcing my girls to stay indoors more often that will help ween me off my talking to Pepper... but I'm at peace.

 Getting ready for the upcoming holidays! (Winter Solstice, Christmas Eve/Day and New Years).

Things are now re-freshened... I believe all traces of the contamination from Pepper's disease is gone (I'm hoping) --- what he had was contagious. Just got laundry to clean tomorrow - I hope to get that done then.

Got Pepper's other favorite (clean) comforter on the bed - the the other is in need cleaning.... just in-case the girls want to start sleeping with me again this winter. The girls also always love these comforters too - just as much as I do. Nice and warm for the winter ahead!

The girls just finished their dinners... kissed them good night as usual -- both are in their favorite drawers for sleeping now and doing good.

I'm not overly hungry this evening... thinking of one more cup of coffee to relax and unwind with... got some soft music playing. Sitting in the dark alone with the girls in their most favorite spots for the winter (their drawers - haha). Feeling bored, tired, and somewhat content this evening yet restless since I don't have my boy to check on anymore. I'll get used to it.

Fall Cleaning Done - 2018

All I left to do is sweep off the porch when the daylight hits us... Autumn cleaning is done again this year!!

This year instead of doing a 2 day hard cleaning, I did a bit here and a bit there over the last 2 or 3 weeks - I'm not as tired out this way... might do it this way from now on!!

Broke Up Again

I broke up again with my EX - Randy Miller-Bowser! Broke a few of my favorite things - mainly my 3 Johnny Depp films: Secret Window, Sweeney Todd, Sleepy Hollow and I think I might have messed up another favorite film with Michelle Pfeiffer and Johnny Depp. Funny, my EX loves Mrs. Pfeiffer and I love Mr. Depp.

The next film I want is  "Murder on the Orient Express"

 My 3 cats are doing fine - I cut Pepper with my DDO/LotRO Axe.. still feeling like shit over it. He's fine, a strong boy... but I have to keep him doctored.

Fall Cleaning Done Inside

Done with what I have to do inside!! Tomorrow or within the next couple of days I'll tackle what I have to do outside. Indoor Fall Cleaning is done again!! Yippie!! 8 hours worth of cleaning - it better be clean now hahaha!! 🍂

Autumn Cleaning 2017

Starting my Autumn Cleaning today... Already have a closet cleaned out and the cabinets under it cleaned!! lol.... So far, it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be... 🍁🍂

Spring Cleaning Done

I survived the task of Spring Cleaning once again this year! It feels wonderful to have it over it! I've got a couple of minor things left to do but that's it.. yesterday was almost 12 hours worth of cleaning. I was so tired and hurting when I went to bed that I used a heating pad to sleep with in those extra sore spots on my shoulders.

My 3 cats were inside for most all of the cleaning - and I have to say they were so good! They didn't cause me a problem as I feared they might... it was only about the last hour of it when they were getting "crazy" and really I can't blame them.. they wanted it over with and so did I. I was a bit grumpy by that time because I did want it over with and they kept getting in the way but we managed to get though it all. Otherwise I am so proud of them staying out of the way so I could get this done - a bit early I know - but it's done.

The stale cigar smoke was making me ill and depressed. I think it was hurting my cats too... yes I'm a smoker... and the 3 of them with one of me in this tiny camper cooped up all winter was taking it's toll on all of us... but the cleaning is over with for the most part. Just a couple of minor things to finish up over the next couple of days.

Walls cleaned again, ceiling cleaned again, floors, cabinets, drawers, etc... all done. Just a few pictures left to clean on the walls, a couple more walls to clean and 2 fans to clean and get ready for the spring. I'm feeling great that it's over with!!!

Spring Cleaning Again!

Yes it's that time of the year once again! I'm so tired for waiting for Spring to officially get here and I'm starting a few days early ha ha! Still cool outside (about 51 out there this evening/morning) so my cats are indoors with me but being so good right now as I get this done. I'm proud of them - they are no trouble at all during this time (but I don't want to brag to soon hehe).  Anyway, I'm coffee breaking before I get started again ... got a little bit done already. :)

Starting my Autumn/Fall cleaning... Bedroom first (that way it's clean encase I get sleepy and can finish the rest tomorrow or the next day hahaa).... It's that time of the year again for me. Drawers, closets and shelves to clean out. Walls and ceiling to wipe down... prep, prep, prep and check for things to repair etc.... lots to do to prepare for the Autumn and Winter seasons ahead!!
