New Years 2022

 

Happy New Year Guys!!! 

 

We made Jack Frosts and rang in the new year watching a countdown and the fireworks show. The drinks are super good and the fireworks where pretty. We also ordered pizzas to chew on... yummy!

 

Cats got a special lickable treat to ring in the new year with us - they loved it. 

Gondorian Meal in Celebration

Happy Gondorian New Year and Tolkien Reading Day!

I've created a Medieval(ish) styled meal: Bread, Cheese, Olives, Raisins and Pork w/Balsamic Honey-Apricot Glaze (seasoned with known Medieval Spices: Cumin, Parsley, Garlic, Mustard, Ginger, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Dill, Sage, Salt & Pepper). Glass of Red Wine to top it off.

Hamburger Steak with Onion & Mushroom Gravy
- side of Mashed Taters!! And a glass of Wine.

Food for the next 3 days!

New Years Eve 2020

Had 1/2 bottle of Tequila left so got some more Margarita Mix for it. Some Malibu and Pineapple and, for tonight, another bottle of White Zinfandel. (NO I'm not drinking all this tonight - but getting one or two glasses of White Wine for New Years Eve).

A Little Afternoon Celebration

Yeah I know -- it's waaaayyyy to early (only 3:30 pm here) but I just had 2 shots of the Schnapps. -- Saving the Rum for later this evening if I feel up to drinking it! lol.... It's a holiday so I'm celebrating.

Thinking of someone very special to me.... just wish we could celebrate together in person! 

Well... I decided no Rum for the New Years... I'm doing coffee instead!! Hahaa!! Listening to the neighbor shoot off some apparently large fireworks from the sounds of the booms! My two girls ran inside as soon as they started about 11:30pm... I think they have a bunch to set off!! UGH!! Oh well.... coffee thirty for me anyway.
