6 years of watching and reviewing movies for IMDb... I never dreamed I
would become a top movie reviewer - but I've had that badge for around 3
years now. My lifetime total may continue getting bigger too if I keep
this up with them. lol.

Bela Lugosi Colorized
What I have colorized so far - My Bela Lugosi colorizations.
My very first attempt at colorization. I learned how to pull in the colors and layer them but I was still lacking the semi-transparency of colors. LOL. Fun first attempt!!

He looks "funny" - but it was my very first attempt at colorization.

and Dr. Vitus Werdegast (Bela Lugosi)
Murders in the Rue Morgue (1932) - Dr. Mirakle (Bela Lugosi).
This photo took 6 to 7 hours to deatil because there is so much to it. But it was so much fun to create! I could not decide what wall and floor colors for the photo so I did created 2 versions.

Bela Lugosi Dracula Colorized
What I have colorized so far - My Bela Lugosi as Dracula colorizations.
Dracula 1931 - Bela Lugosi
This is the first detailed movie still I created.
Van Helsing (Edward van Sloan) and Dracula (Bela Lugosi).
His cape was gray in the movie and NOT the red so I colored the inside lining gray as it really was. -- The red color films black in B&W and that is the reason Bela wore a gray lined cape.
Bela in his Gray Lined Cape
Bela in a Red Cape - the way we tend to think of Dracula's Cape
Boris Karloff Colorized
What I have colorized so far - My Boris Karloff colorizations.
The Monster (Karloff) - Frankenstein (1931)
John Ellman (Karloff) The Walking Dead (1936)

The Black Cat (1934). Hjalmar Poelzig (Boris Karloff)
and Dr. Vitus Werdegast (Bela Lugosi).
The Man with Nine Lives (1940) - Dr. Leon Kravaal (Karloff)
Colorizations
I started teaching myself how to colorize B&W photos on Thanksgiving Day 2015. I've been practicing the last few days lol.
I'm having quite a bit of fun at this. It's interesting and relaxing I find. Good hobby for me. Some of them are time consuming while others are quick to create - it all depends on the number of objects in the picture and how detailed it is. The simpler the photo, the quicker it is to colorize - the more details in the photo the longer it takes.
