Yesterday I found out that Nut-Nut had a case of tapeworms. Doctor gave her ONE pill that should rid her of these very nasty things. Doc says she most likely got them from eating/swallowing an infected flea. I am worried that one pill will not be enough to rid her of them. I 'm also scared that Honey and Pepper might have them. I want to get meds for all of them to treat the tapeworm - just in case they all have a bit of them.
I'm going to get some Revolution for all of them next month as well. It's rare to see a flea on them but they are indoor/outdoor cats and can easily pick them up. Revolution is suppose to treat fleas, ticks, ear mites, heartworm, roundworm and hookworm. I'm going to try it.
Popcorn has a new home. There is a little boy who's kitten died recently so
I gave him Poppy. He'll name her what he want's to name her. She'll be happy
to have a playmate again. I felt bad for her because she didn't have anyone
to play with and was bored quite often.
I've got double check Nut, Honey and Pepper for all kinds of icky things. It's winter soon and they will be home more - that'll give me a chance for close inspection of them. I'm just praying that I can get them all what they need soon. I'm scared for all of them now. Me and these three cats have gone through a lot together already - we're going to get though this -- I've got to stay positive and not panic but it's too late on the panicking but I do need to control it better than I am doing. I love these cats way to much but I can't afford a lot but I will do what I can - that is a promise!
