The first morning without Pepper. Feeling nostalgic for him already.
Hard to sleep last night without Pepper in bed curled up by me. Nut woke me up this morning, all over me as usual. All was good then I realized I was looking for Pepper and he's now gone. But the two girls and I had a pleasant wake up together anyway.
It seemed so very quiet while the girls ate their breakfast - almost too quiet. Fixing only two plates of cat breakfast instead of the usual three it was hard like the girl's supper last night. But I'm doing okay... my two girls are doing fine as well.
I'm missing the almost chaotic mornings with him right now... he was the most instant cat wanting his breakfast every morning... and his company with my morning coffee. It really is the little things that one misses the most - but I'm at peace this morning.
