Dealing
with a sick cat again today - my Pepper. He's not well at all.... gonna
watch him over the weekend and see how he does... he keeps getting
worse.... I'm afraid he may have to be put down if this keeps up... that
would be better than him suffering.
His stomach and back legs have swollen a bit .... I'm afraid he's got a bad infection. He keeps getting sick - this is a constant thing with him. A friend who's studied vet medicine said maybe water retention is why he's swollen like that.
He needs to do No. 2 - has not done that in 4 or 5 days --- giving him water by syringe with force because he doesn't like that. I may have to force him to eat some canned pumpkin too - they say that also helps with their bowel movements.
This could be something more serious - and I'm very afraid that I will have to put him down if it is - I cannot afford a lot sadly.
Calling his regular vet - they said: They can give him something potty.
Edit: It was worse than him not being able to just potty. He had FIP - feline infectious peritonitis - a fatal disease and I had to put him down...
