Plants Watering Guide

 

Damp-but-not-soggy lovers

• Sauron – Calathea 'Black Rose' 4" → Likes evenly moist soil; let top 1/4" dry before watering again.

• Frodo – Callisia "Pink Panther" Mini 2" → Prefers soil slightly moist; avoid waterlogging.

• Rosie – Hypoestes Pink Splash 2" → Keep soil lightly damp; too dry dulls the pink color.

• Boromir – Peperomia Red 2" → Likes slightly damp soil; overwatering can rot roots.

• Aragorn – Peperomia Red/Green Stripes 2" → Same as Boromir; let top of soil dry a little.

• Faramir – Peperomia Green 2" → Damp soil, no soggy conditions.

• Legolas – Neon Pothos 2" → Likes soil lightly damp, not waterlogged.

• Saruman – Pothos ‘N Joy’ 2" → Same; prefers top inch to dry between waterings.

• Shelob – Spider Plant 2" → Likes soil evenly moist; tolerate short dry spells but not standing water.

Quick watering tip:

• Check soil with your finger: if the top 1–2 cm feels dry, it’s time to water.

• Make sure pots have drainage holes, and saucers don’t let water sit at the bottom.

• These plants thrive in bright indirect light combined with consistent moisture.
