I learned more today... everything is back running again!! Got hot and cold water in kitchen and bath again. Got a hole plugged that was causing some problems... sink leaking wasn't much, it just needed a little more tightening, washer was easy for the water hose (that's all it was a missing washer).
I still think that insulation for the pipe might help because it's so cold under the couch
even with the heater blowing under it, it couldn't hurt anyway and for the $6 to help
with my peace of mind is great. So I'm most likely gonna get that next month before
the harsh winter sets in... maybe it won't be as bad as the last couple of days here! LOL.
