Nurse Nut

Well this past Saturday Honey and Nut both came home from the vet after their Spay Surgery - both girls are doing great! I just a have one thing that is strange - Nurse Nut! This did not happen before Nut was spayed. You see prior to Nut being spayed she was aggressive towards the kittens and Honey after the kittens were born -- now the aggressive Nut-Nut is Nurse Nut.

(Before the kittens were born Nut was sweet, loving and even groomed Honey - kitten born then Nut turned into a Nightmare to live with - then she and Honey was spayed now Nut is caring for the kitten Skipper).

Honey Bun is the cat that had kittens. Nut-Nut has never had any kittens. Last night at bedtime Nut decided to let 11 1/2 week old Skippy nurse her! In one way this is good because it gave Honey a break from Skipper! Skipper keeps trying to nurse on Honey and Honey is trying to wean him. But this could be bad - Skipper may try to continue to nurse both Honey and Nut!

Bedtime was extremely peaceful last night. All three cats were very contented which prompted me to take some photos to show others "Nurse" Nut and a relaxed Honey Bun. Raising a bouncing baby boy (Skipper) is hard on all three of us females (Nut, Honey and myself). LOL - at least Skipper is well cared for. :D
